<p>One of the most talented actors coming out of the South Asian film business is Vijay Sethupathi. The actor’s portrayal of Kalee Gaikwad in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan established his mettle in the North. <p>With the smash blockbuster Uppena, Krithi made her cinematic debut for the uninitiated. She improved her standing as a top female performer by appearing in Naga Chaitanya’s Bangarraju and Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy. In Uppena, Krithi portrayed Sangeetha, also known as Bebamma, Rayanam’s (Vijay Sethupathi) daughter.</p>
<p>Vijay said that the movie’s creators intended for him to be paired with Krithi while promoting his actioner Laabam. Vijay, however, didn’t feel at ease dating a woman who had previously portrayed her daughter. In addition to the evident age difference, Vijay has thought of her as his daughter. He is unable to romance her on-screen as a result.</p>
<p>In an interview with News Buzz, Vijay said, “The creators mentioned they were looking to cast Krithi Shetty for the female lead part in the film when I was filming for Labham. Uppena was also developing at that period. Krithi Shetty portrayed my daughter in Uppena. In any case, the Laabam producers were thinking of casting Krithi Shetty to co-star with me in the female main role. But I rejected their advances right away. How can I romance an actress who is concurrently portraying my daughter in a movie that is being shot? It would have been quite embarrassing to go through this. The idea of Krithi Shetty portraying my love interest in Laabam was rejected by me.</p>
<p>Vijay objected to being partnered against Krithi since he saw of her as his daughter. The producers decided on Shruti Haasan as the starring heroine after Vijay rejected Krithi. Vijay’s appearance in Ghost will come after Jawan.</p>
