<p>The price of the precious metal in the last transaction was Rs 60,050 for 10 grams.</p>
<p>Also falling by Rs 850 to Rs 74,500 per kilogram was silver.</p>
<p>Both gold and silver were trading at lower prices on the international markets, at USD 1,912 per ounce and USD 23,05 per ounce, respectively.</p>
<p>According to Saumil Gandhi, senior commodities analyst at HDFC Securities, Comex gold fell to a two-week low due to robust advances in the US dollar and bond yields on speculation that central banks would maintain high interest rates for longer to control inflation.</p>
<p>The October contract for gold in futures exchange decreased by Rs 30 to Rs 58,671 for 10 kilos. In addition, the price of silver for December fell 111 rupees to Rs 72,039 per kg on the MCX.</p>
