<p>Najmul Hossain Shanto, the stand-in captain for Bangladesh, hit the most runs—76—but was unable to help the hosts to a respectable total due of a lack of assistance from the other end after choosing to bat first.</p>
<p>Despite losing Dean Foxcroft ((0) and Finn Allen (28) to successive deliveries from Shoriful Islam, New Zealand was able to easily surpass their mark because to Young and Henry Nicholls’ 81-run third-wicket stand.</p>
