<p>Against their closest competitors, Maharashtra had won more than ten gold medals by the conclusion of the Saturday competition.</p>
<p>The basketball games in the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim, saw the Kerala women win gold by defeating Karnataka 57-54, while the Punjab men won gold by defeating Tamil Nadu 105-103 in overtime. According to information that has reached us, Punjab fell to Tamil Nadu in the previous game’s final.</p>
<p>In the hotly fought women’s final, R. Sreekala led Kerala with 29 points, while Sanjana Ramesh led Karnataka with 21 points. To win the bronze medal earlier, Tamil Nadu defeated Uttar Pradesh 92–65.</p>
<p>Amjyot Singh, an Indian international, helped Punjab upset Tamil Nadu to win the gold in the men’s final with a huge 42-point effort. With 28 points, B. Soorya led Tamil Nadu in scoring. With outstanding efforts from Joginder Singh and Indian team captain Vishesh Bhriguvanshi, Delhi defeated Services 93-56 to take home the bronze.</p>
<p>Pranati Nayak of Odisha won her fourth gold medal of the games in the Women’s Balance Beam event at the Peddem Multipurpose Indoor Stadium with a score of 11.733 points. The fourth medal Pranati Das of West Bengal earned was silver, while Mallika Kulshreshtha of Delhi took home the bronze.</p>
<p>Life Adlakha of Haryana stopped Sanyukta Kale of Maharashtra from winning the whole competition in rhythmic gymnastics by winning the gold medal in the Ribbon division with a score of 23.70 points. Richa Chordia took home the bronze, while Sanyukta Kale took home the silver.</p>
<p>Maharashtra won every gold medal in the Campal Sports Village in Mallakhamb. Rupali Gangawane won two gold medals in the women’s rope and pole divisions as they won all six gold medals available.</p>
<p>N. Lalitha of Andra Pradesh won gold in the women’s 81 kg weightlifting competition by lifting a total of 211 kg. With an overall lift of 208 kg, Vanshitha Verma of Chandigarh took home the silver, while Rakhi Purohit of Rajasthan took home the bronze with an aggregate lift of 207 kg.</p>
<p>Kojum Tara of SSCB took home the gold in the men’s 102 kg weight class with a total lift of 330 kg, four kg more than Shubham Verma of Goa, who lifted 326 kg, and five kg more than Mohammed Jameir Hussain, who lifted 325 kg.</p>
<p>Maharashtra’s Komal Wakale won gold in the women’s 87 kg class with a total lift of 205 kg. Rakhi of Haryana earned bronze with a lift of 196 kg, while B.N. Usha of Karnataka took home the silver medal with a lift of 203 kg.</p>
<p>Maharashtra won all five gold medals in the biathlon held at the Ponda Indoor Swimming Complex, extending their reign in the modern pentathlon. In the individual and team competitions, Parth Mirage and Mansi Vinod Mohite each took home three gold medals.</p>
<p>SSCB defeated Maharashtra in the final to win the gold medal in the men’s sabre team fencing competition at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium. Rajasthan and Punjab won the bronze medals.</p>
<p>Ashitha S. Joy of Tamil Nadu defeated V.P. Kanagalakshmi of Kerala in the final to take home the gold in the women’s foil individual event. The bronze medals were won by Isha of Haryana and Waikhom Sonia Devi of Manipur.</p>
