On “Children’s Day”, Khan’s Campaign Ignites Change with the promise for a Better Future for the children of Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar Constituency No.171.

As we celebrate Children’s Day, it’s a time to reflect on our responsibility to ensure the well-being, education, and development of the youngest members of the society. In Maharashtra, Waseem Javed Khan stands out as a dedicated advocate for children’s welfare, particularly for those from marginalized communities. An Engineer with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the United States, Waseem ranks among the most educated leaders in the forthcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. His academic accomplishments, combined with a passion for public service, brings a unique perspective to addressing the challenges faced by underprivileged children in Govandi.

Continuing Pandit Nehru’s legacy, Waseem dedicated his time on Children’s Day to spending some quality moments with underprivileged children. As a heartwarming gesture before departing, he shared some gifts that brought bright smiles to their innocent faces.

Waseem Javed Khan continues to honour the legacy of his father, the Late Javed Khan, a beloved leader from the area, by working towarda society where children from all backgrounds have equal access to opportunities for success. His efforts focus on supporting children who face challenges and lack the resources and encouragement to reach their full potential. Through his personal initiatives, he has championed educational resources, skill-building programs, and community support systems, paving the way for a better future for all children.

In his campaign, Khan is waging a battle against the fundamental rights violations faced by children in Govandi—from inadequate educational facilities and nutrition to insufficient healthcare, sanitation and open spaces. The alarming increase in young lives succumbing to addiction is a pressing concern, and Waseem is dedicated to protecting these vulnerable children.
