<p>The OTT release of the Tamil film Mission: Chapter 1 has been continuously delayed due to circulating rumors. On January 15, during Sankranthi, the movie was launched, and it was a box office hit. Mission: Chapter 1 was significantly delayed compared to other Tamil films, which typically begin streaming on OTT platforms four weeks after they are theatrically released. At last, the movie is available on OTT. Since March 15, Amazon Prime Video has begun offering the Tamil version of the movie with English subtitles for streaming. Eight weeks after its theatrical debut, the movie was available on OTT.</p>

<p>In addition, those who live overseas may see the film on Simply South, an OTT site, where it has been available for streaming since the same day. Several outlets reported in February that Netflix had purchased the streaming rights to Mission: Chapter, but these were only rumors.</p>
<p>AL Vijay is the director of Mission: Chapter 1, which has an impressive cast that includes Bharat Bopana, Amy Jackson, Nimisha Sajayan, Abi Hasan, and Arun Vijay. Produced by M Rajashekar, S Swathi, Surya Vamsi Prasad Kotha, Jeevan Kotha, and Subaskaran Allirajah, the movie is released under the banners of Aspen Film Productions (P) Ltd., Lyca Productions, Shri Shirdi Sai Movies, and New March Fast Pictures.</p>
<p>GV Prakash Kumar wrote the film’s soundtrack, while Anthony handled the editing and Sandeep K. Vijay handled the cinematography. Notably, Amy Jackson makes her silver screen return with this movie after a five-year absence. The movie’s primary actor, Arun Vijay, said in a previous interview that he has long-term collaborations with director AL Vijay in mind.</p>
<p>The main plot of the film is about a guy who receives an incorrect jail sentence when his daughter is in urgent need of surgery. During a riot, the father escapes from prison to rescue his daughter, and the prison warden is chasing after him.</p>
