Taliban leader from Pakistan killed there after participating in attacks on polio teams

On Monday, Pakistani security officials said that they had killed a prominent leader of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) who had been responsible for many assaults on law enforcement and polio teams.

In a mission based on information, Abdul Jabar Shah of the outlawed TTP Gandapur faction was murdered in the neighboring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of South Waziristan tribal area. The raid also resulted in the injuries of two terrorists.

Attacks against law enforcement organizations, religious organizations, polio teams, and extortion for the TTP were all carried out by the terrorist leader.

The local law enforcement forces have achieved success twice in a row.

Since the Taliban's invasion of Afghanistan, the illegal TTP has reportedly intensified its attacks and grown stronger.

The militant group, which was formed in 2007 as an umbrella organization for a number of militant groups, broke off a cease-fire with the federal government and instructed its members to carry out terrorist strikes around the nation.
